Should be a hell of a series. I hope it goes 7.

The Thunder present match-up problems for the Warriors. They can win the series. I think they'll probably lose in 7, but they can win.

Barring an injury, the Cavs are winning the title, IMO.

Wow, the Thunder are crucifying the Warriors.

Golden State is in trouble in this series.

37 point lead after 3. And it's not even that close. Wow.

The margin was a shock, but I'm going to hold off on saying that the Warriors are in trouble. Next game is a must win for Golden State, though.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "in trouble." IMO, that's a combination actual issues plus "adjusted for expectations" issues.

The very respected Fivethirtyeight.com's prediction model has the Warriors as currently having a 36% chance to advance to the finals. That's at least *some* trouble, especially for a team that went 73-9 in the regular season.

Current odds to reach the finals, according to fivethirtyeight.com:

    Cleveland: 71%
    Oklahoma City: 64%
    Golden State: 36%
    Toronto: 29%

It's safe to say they're in trouble as OKC is up by 19 at 1/2time. And again, it's not even that close.

If it holds up, they're not only in trouble, they're probably done.

    Curry just missed a layup.

    Game over, series over.

No team had ever won more than 63 games in a season and not made the NBA finals.

They were the basketball version of the 2001 Seattle Mariners.

Yes I'm counting my eggs, but does anybody think it's not gonna be a Cavs/Warriors Final?

Didn't see this coming at all. What the hell has happened to GW? Unfortunately, I don't get to see the games but what a hell of a story this has been for OKC. And what a meltdown for "the greatest team on earth." I didn't see Toronto playing so good either. They've got nothing to lose, and Lebron has everything to lose.

This certainly takes some of the bloom off of the rose, as far as Golden State being a "historically great" team.

They're probably crying like babies at ESPN.

    Um...

1972-73 Boston Celtics 68-14, Lost in Eastern Conference Final
2006-07 Dallas Mavericks 67-15, Lost in First Round
2015-16 San Antonio Spurs 67-15, Lost in Second Round (Understandable you would miss this one since it happened so long ago)
2008-09 Cleveland Cavaliers 66-16, Lost in Eastern Conference Final
2005-06 Detroit Pistons 64-18, Lost in Eastern Conference Final

I was just repeating what I heard elsewhere. Guess I should have checked, especially since it didn't seem right when I heard it. Bad job by me there.

See - great regular season teams that don't do anything in the playoffs aren't very memorable.

Cleveland up by 40 with a minute left in the 3rd...lead cut to 36, 9 1/2 left in the 4th.

If the Dubs can't at least get the series back to OKC, their implosion will be right up there with the 1969 Cubs or the Knicks against Reggie Miller in the "8 points in 11 seconds" game.

Wow, I go away to NYC for a week and my team falls completely apart! I'll be disappointed if they don't make it to the Finals, but not the end of the world for me.

I can't believe how much these two teams are turning the ball over.

GSW hasn't solved the TO problem yet and it's been their Achilles Heel for 5+ years. Would love to see them force a game 7!

File Under "Holy Shit": ESPN is reporting that the 76ers are gauging interest in possible trades that would move either or both Nerlens Noel and Jalil Okafor ahead of this year's draft.

What kind of mad scientist is running this team?

I believe they have applied to Guinness for the most consecutive lottery drafts in NBA history. And they will continue because they mean to never have that record broken.
