    Read the Rolling Stone article. You'll understand more about the "prog" part of it: One of the album's composers has a background you're looking for.

    What, nobody mentioning that it was Toni Pagliuca from Le Orme co-composing this music?

    I totally expected Latte e Miele to be the classic Italian prog band to collaborate with the Pope, on account of that liturgical album they did back in the day.
