    A Few Facts & Figures About The new PEv3

    A few statistics:

    Average number of users online at any time:
    - 150 to 200 registered
    - 250 to 500 unregistered

    Good question.

    We didn't keep many stats on PEv2 because they slowed the (already slow) system too much.

    The details we captured for a short time, and the regular stats found on the Site Statistics page, were different to the metrics here on PEv3 - so there's no real apples-to-apples comparison.

    Using fairly crude math to interpolate the equivalent stats, I'd say that the activities on the old site in October were slightly higher than the (holiday-influenced) December stats here.

    I'm always amazed at the number of guests. Why don't these people register? Or is it people who logged out, and are reading without logging in?
