I'm not sure about his break-even point for PD...I asked him if he'd be on the field when I saw him at RF and he indicated he'd come depending on who was in the lineup. So my impression is that it's at least partly/slightly also a matter of who is playing.

IIRC, his personal interest in PD bands was definitely a factor. Been ages since I've been involved though, so can't be 100%.

Like most people who come to Progday (except for us addicts), Greg shows up if there is someone in the lineup that he is jazzed about seeing. I imagine the logistics of getting his stock from Utah to NC and back isn't worth the return he would get from sales at PD....there has to be a musical incentive for him.
