I'm crying foul. The "Songs about Something" thread, which I started, has been closed - fair enough - as have some of the other similar threads, but the "Songs About Nothing" thread is still open. Does that mean that nothing is OK? There is favouritism going on here.

I guess they don't have closed the threads that had more responses. I thought the "songs about" threads were interesting because they were like an overall songs-knowledge test, but, if they don't fit this site, there's little we can do. I had more "songs about" threads in my mind, but I won't even try. We have to follow the rules. It's the same here and in any other place. Anyway, you can go to the "If I were a list of something, I'd go here" thread. Just make up a top 10 list or whatever of the songs that match the criterion you've chosen. I wouldn't see anything wrong with that.
