Went to last night's show at Pala Casino.
Enjoyed Toto, first time seeing them. Definitely want to check out their new album, based on one song they played, Great Expectations I think it's called.
Overall quite good, maybe I was expecting more from them based on the comments by some here, my fault. Nonetheless enjoyed their show.

Yes; my seventh time seeing them since the Union tour, that's the day I first heard the term progressive applied to any band. Anyways, not their best show but still enjoyed it very much.
I now have a better understanding as to why some people have objections to the vocal department. It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, Jon D and Billy are not Jon A and Mr Christopher Squire (it's OK to call him that, right?) so it sounds very different. Someone described their experience as surreal and I tend to agree. It was not bad just very different. I'm not one of those "no Peter Banks no Yes" people, I do consider myself a huge fan, they are after all my first prog love, but still there was something odd. I'll continue to support them by buying archive and hopefully new material, going to shows whenever they are close by, Pala was the closest.
I think I just need to get use to the fact that this is Yes.

Overall sound was very good to these untrained ears. Only thing I can say is that first couple of songs Billy was a bit too high in the vocal mix, but they sorted it out after that. The set seems to short, which might end up being a testament that I wanted more from them.
May Yes live as long as they wish to.

I was there and recognized that tune but couldn't place it because of Owner continuing. Now that I was able to hear it, pause the music and sing it for a bit I was able to place it. (Didn't hurt that someone already provided the answer, either. ) Cool.

Saw them last night at mountain winery. I think both bands abbreviated their sets a little no going for the one or clap for us and the lack of video screens meant the onward tribute was cut.

beyond that I enjoyed it a good deal. I was figuring a similar setlist to yes/styx which is my personal least favorite yes show I have attended and was pleasantly surprised with a few deeper tracks pulled out given the shortened time available.

I would agree though that Alan is not doing much for me at this point.

hope we get drama live in the states soon.
