Michael Giles Mad Band with Keith Tippets

Not sure if I already posted this but still i can't get enough of this EXCELLENT live performance - this seems to be a sort of logical extension of the improv spirit of the mid 70's Crimson - this is the stuff that still gets me excited - these guys are in their 70's and still kick ass!! I'd just wish they release this as an official DVD
I think I'm gonna start lobbying them for next year's RIO Fest...

Giles is still at it, but I find his work much more satisfying now in an improv setting! Tippett was always great, tho'.

Nice to see more love for this band. Both cd's by MGMB are worth a listen or twenty, with the most recent release, "In The Moment", with Keith Tippett, especially tasty.
