How did the Eberhard Weber / Kate Bush collaboration come about?

I've done some googling, but couldn't find anything explaining how they first got together. Perhaps a musician friend who had worked with both of them introduced them? I love his work on her albums, as well as all of the ECM albums on which he's appeared...

Perhaps, there is a way to ask either of them about it?
And I also love ECM and, naturally, his works too!
