Well it takes a special type of aritst to improve on Danny Elfman's recordings of his own work, but I think this bunch of lads nailed it! Metal-funk-jazz-pronk ... Little quiz for Cardiacs fans - name the early tune that that little Cardiacs bit comes from at 2.46-2.49.

If I'm not mistaken Panzerballet played that Simpsons theme at ProgDay 3 or 4 years ago. Pretty cool, if I remember correctly.
Then a couple years ago at ProgDay, Birds Songs of the Mezozoic played the theme to Rocky and Bullwinkle. Equally as twisted.
