Never Heard This Before: Vermillion Skye

I'm listening to the album Security Theatre from this Canadian band on Progstreaming. It may not push the envelope but the very melodic vibe of this band really captured me from the first minute of listening. I'd not heard of them before and can't find many reviews online about them. Are they new?

According to http://www.vermillionskye.com/ they have released five CD's. Queen- and Crack The Sky-influences can be heard at first listening.

I hear a tiny bit of Styx too. Very theatrical.

The cheap sounding electric drums are very distracting. That's what I notice upon first listen.

The three samples I heard sounded very good. Yes, definitely heavy on the theatrical vocals -- Dennis DeYoung's timbre was all over this. But the music is very good and I was grooving to it.
