Lenny's work is well *beyond* all pidgeonholes, be they Symph, Fusion, Jazz or whatever
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
Not sure what this thread is about, but I think it gives me an opportunity to mention outstanding Aynsley Dunbar, Robert Wyatt, John Marshall, Giulio Capiozzo (Area), Christian Vander, Curt Cress, Pip Pyle and Chris Cutler... and the list could go on.
Marshall, Capiozzo & Vander are jazz drummers who plays prog. There are many others.
