Good news. I picked up Heavy On The Beach while in Montreal last week (it was playing in the store and I recognized his vocals straight away, as I love the Comedy Of Errors albums). I immediately told the guy behind the counter "I'll take this one please!"
Great album, gets better as it goes on too. It's very close to Comedy Of Errors - any fan of them should get this too.

yes, good news. really like heavy on the beach
Just listened to this one. The second to last track, the horribly titled Little Boy and The Fat Man, is a great instrumental that almost has the energy of Hotel Hobbies from Marillion's Clutching...
It's a shame that Long Earth which was related and came out recently was so disappointing.
If I like the guitar and vocals on Grand Tour and Comedy of Errors, is there anything related that's worth getting? I have one Abel Ganz CD somewhere.

The next album was delayed by other projects (Long Earth and Abel Ganz) but is definitely on the way as soon as Hew Montgomery and Comedy Of Errors lads (Joe, Mark, Bruce) get some more free time. It will be a conceptual prog-release, based around conspiracy theories and specifically projects such as MK Ultra and the Numbers Stations. All of this info should point to 2018 as a credible year for new cd.
More details when I have them.

The Grand Tour CD is great, but I'm not sure why they wouldn't use whatever best material they have for Comedy of Errors. Is there a difference in personnel or creative team for the two bands?
Grand Tour is a brainchild of Hew Montgomery (ex-Abel Ganz). Fortunately, that does not mean his endless self-indulgence. Instead, three gentlemen from COE provide very strong support for "chairman".
At the same time, keyboard player Jim Johnston is a chef composer in Comedy Of Errors.
So that's that.
^ Thanks! Hey, is Guess Who Hew?
Meanwhile, all the music and lyrics of sophomore Grand Tour album are written and being arranged for recording.
