"True Survivor," the theme song for a film called Kung Fury.
This video is as ridiculous as it gets, but halfway through - yes, I made it that far - the song itself really reminded me of some lost Asia demo or outtake.

Despite popular demand...
Well, I made it through the whole video. Whew!!
Was that from the 80s, or were they going for a "period piece?"
And, every time I thought that it couldn't get any cheesier, it keep one-upping itself. I guess they figured you can't top riding off into the sunset on the back of a dinosaur.
look at the bright side: its still better than Chris Holmes' new song/video....although not by much
The music isn't that bad. The only thing I liked about de video, was the car, though it should be black, or perhaps red. If this is a promotion for a movie, I think the movie is even far worse than a B movie.
But then again, Asia are pretty darn good as well - right? A little? Bit? Please...?

Damn....if you listen to it without the visuals it does sound like an old Asia track.
In this case, it should be spelled: "Assia"
David Asiahoff.

The theme to "Knight Rider" is more proggy than anything Asia did.
The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off
It's supposed to be pure Gouda anyway.
http://kungfury.vhx.tv/KUNG FURY is an over-the-top action comedy written and directed by David Sandberg. The movie features: arcade-robots, dinosaurs, nazis, vikings, norse gods, mutants and a super kung fu-cop called Kung Fury, all wrapped up in an 80s style action packed adventure.
Kung Fury takes place in a variety of exotic locations; 1980s Miami, Asgard and Germany in the 1940s, to name a few. With a limited budget to work with, we had to solve this by shooting most of the scenes against a greenscreen backdrop.

She was gold alright, but then so is rust.

To be quite honest, I seriously believe Hasselhoff expresses such an understanding pretty well through a certain degree of irony in his delivery. Something I do not see in either Asia or other "prog" acts who seem to think that applying some elements of Bryan Adams or Michael Bolton to their very interesting sound would serve as an alibi to the contemporary valeur of their craft.

I haven't been this entertained by anything Hasselhoff related since watching Knight Rider at the age of 8. Even beats the day I saw overdubbed Baywatch on German TV.
That dinoride would be a great road rage accessory!
