A great book. I've read it cover to cover several times. I can't sell mine as it's essential bathroom reading. Good luck though.

Not that good and a bit overrated for what it actually is. Too much of a fanboy approach and not much ground covered. The Freemans' "A Crack In The Cosmic Egg" (especially its expanded DVD version) is the way to go with a kraut rock reference read.

I would say hugely over-rated, but basically, I am with you.

Not sure how anyone can call it overrated unless they just don't like Cope's writing. The book is more a reminiscence than it is a history or survey.

Anyway, I see someone has taken the liberty of scanning the entire thing and posting a pdf of it online, so Google monoskop.org and krautrocksampler and download it before some simpering do-gooder spoils it for you.
