Oddly enough, I remember an interview with Tony Banks back in the early 80's, when he was talking about writing Me And Sarah Jane. He commented that he wasn't sure where the title came from, but he was positive that "Doctor Who had nothing to do with it".I thought she was introduced on Three Sides Live.
