Ditto! 10/24, at the only Raleigh bar where I've ever seen a bullet in the urinal (don't wanna know how it got there). Actually, the only place anywhere where I've seen that.

Will definitely be checking this band out in Raleigh coming up here soon - sounds really cool !!!

LOL - I was at the Primus show this summer in Raleigh at the Lincoln Theater, and while urinating . . . saw an iPhone down there in the man trough. Nobody was all that interested, and it made a good target BTW.

    Excellent music !!!

Yup, I'm thinking of getting the vinyl in addition to that CD I've already played the heck out of. Vinyl endures, CDs don't.

How long do you think we will endure? In general, CDs work for me and how long I expect to endure. YMMV

I meant technically. A bit too many of the CDs I've got that are 15+ years, behave badly when I play them - while most of my 40+ year-old vinyls seem to survive alright.

I'm not gonna stop purchasing dose' compact thangs from ya', Steve - so nutta worry.

The Crown Larks album is really a gem. It inhabits a great space in between trippy psych and space-rock that is both uplifting and calm-inducing, if that makes any sense...

After several months of listening I am confident it will be among my top 5 for 2015.

For any interested parties in the area, here's the Facebook event page for the Raleigh show on Saturday, 10/24/15: https://m.facebook.com/events/539786369510234/

I'll be there, so be sure to say 'ello & we can discuss how Phil Collins' Alamo obsession did/didn't ruin Prog...

Doesn't look like I can catch any of the shows (ach! The Athens show at the Go Bar would be perfect but lines up poorly), but I'm in for the new album!

    Hi all,

Our FULL ALBUM is up and streaming today! Check it out: https://soundcloud.com/crownlarks/sets/population

IMPOSE Magazine published a review and interview with us this weekend, describing our first single as "a view into the anarchic ways of amor expressed between carnies in love with a romantic & detached sort of experimental acid fusion of elements that fire forth like phasers originally cast onto an ancient dub plate"

    http://www.imposemagazine.com/bytes/...sun-glitters/4

Also, lots of of tour dates coming up: http://www.crownlarks.com/shows

    Thanks!

You guys should make an album called Larks' Crowns In Asparagus.

Anyone going to the show in Raleigh tonight? I'm on the way into town, really looking forward to it. I've been playing the new LP almost everyday and it's fantastic. Each time I listen to it I discover something new I didn't hear previously.

Just ordered Population on vinyl, because it's Christmas time and I need to make a gift to myself, as this extra-promising band made us with its music. Canterburian psych, post punk, free jazz blend that swings from the ethereal to the chthonic with the same ease and inspiration. Definitely in my top list whatsoever of 2017.
