And if there were a god, I think it very unlikely that he would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence - Russell

There are certainly kings and queens (Time Table, White Mountain). No bishops, AFAIK, but certainly a Reverend (For Absent Friends, Battle of Epping Forest). No rooks, but a raven (LLDoB). Pawns?

Not sure it's supposed to be a chess board or just a table cloth You never know with Xyrus

"Very, very nice," said a man in the crowd,
    When the golden voice appeared.
She was gold alright, but then so is rust.
"Such a shame about the beard."

    Greetings,

We've got a few chess pieces on our last album cover (painted by resident PE artist Michael Phipps) too:

CF cover (from pasted-cropped AI file) [524x524].jpg

I think clicking on the image should enlarge it too, by the way.

    Cheers,

    Alan

    Hi Renate,

Although way oversimplifies, we describe Advent as: "Perhaps a modern equivalent to the symphonic side of classic English progressive-rock groups like Gentle Giant, (early) Genesis, and Procol Harum, but with a little Tubes-style funk and the occasional jazz-rock flourish as well." You can also hear most of our older music by clicking on the first link in my signature below.

    Thanks and take care,

    Alan

P.S. Our third album should be out in a few months too.
