    Very good, Flowerking.

Now, do you look down at select others who post here?

    Of course you do.

Everyone does this to a certain extent.

You are lying if you maintain otherwise.

(And perhaps God is taking note of your lie.)

You do not make yourself clear, garyhead.

You are being VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY.

Could it...just could it be that you are saying you sense a moderator closure of this thread and you see that as being predictable and a wrong move on their part?

    (I highly doubt you are.)

Well, as the guy who spoke to him you know what it sounded like to me? Honest. From a guy who is, like me, a music junkie of all sorts. Prog may be a love, but it's not the only one.

The only thing that redeems your comment is your use of the word "seems."

Yeah, it may be true that I listen to uppity opera, but dammit, Im no spoiled richbrat born with spoon in the hole - lookie! what you think these battered secondhand CRUTCHES I'm flashing before you speak of? Ehhh? Did you ever think on THAT?"
Why does it have to be more than it is: a comment from someone who loves music, not any one strain? There are plenty of folks like that out there and you can count me as one.

Your assessment is unnecessarily cynical. Why is it not possible for folks to have broader tastes
Why must one style be better than all others?

Sorry, again, Birdman, but your reasoning is just tremendously flawed. Not to mention that Wilson's records, most particularly HCE, demonstrate the breadth of his interests in a practical way. There's so much more than progressive rock in that record, it kinda lays waste to your argument.

No sir, you won't catch me listening to some PROPER EM like Arc or Fast or Hoenig. I'm no prog uber-man. No, not I!!"
Um, we get it. No need to continue with the cynical diatribe. Your first sentence, misinformed as it was, was plenty good enough.

Sounds like you didn't really need to make a thread because you already have your mind made up. Ironic.

This is getting boring for others that I have to continually repeat that I have very broad music tastes, thankyou. (Not that anyone cares.)

My argument was not what you (accomodatingly) take it as being.
