    HARD rockin' women!

I love me some hard rocking women on stage and the number of female bands has exploded in recent years but I wonder why Germany, Sweden, Holland, Norway and Finland are so good at producing great female bands?

Three from Sweden for starters. Three from other Euro lands up next!

I really dig Indica (sorry about the lack of video- I'm technologically inept/impaired). They may not rock quite (near?) as hard as the groups already posted, but in addition to playing music that casual fans of Nightwish may appreciate (they were discovered by Tuomas Holopainen), all five happen to be drop dead gorgeous.

Fanny turned out not to be the hard rock act they were billed as, but they could rock out when they chose to do so. Case in point:

Is it time for a "Hard Rockin' Women That Get You Rock Hard" thread?

If it is, I submit this lass from Down Under (and let's not discuss the fact that I'm almost old enough to be her grandfather):

edit: Oh wait, I'm ONLY 31 years older than her.

Here are some pop singers who could from a hard rock/metal band IMHO

Fergie- she already sang on a Slash song and was great she could easily front a band
Katy Perry- saw her before she was big play at Warped Tour, she reminded me of a young Joan Jett
Lady Gaga - she is an Iron Maiden fan
