Cold CDs In The Car

Not my CDs but you're right. Your body parts are extremely vulnerable at such a God awful low temp. That's why we've gone to California the last two winters. But not this year.

At the risk of repeating myself, I don't think it's the cold per se that you should worry about with CDs, it's the rapid rise in temperature when you warm up the car and start playing them.
