    Naked Sun

Does anyone remember Naked Sun from the 90s?

Pretty weird heavy Psych Prog Rock with a little Jazz sometimes.

With a excentric vocalist like Max Vanderwolf and with a style that
should have some Appeal over the usual Prog borders, I always
wondered why the didn't make it.

I still have their first release which I think is fantastic. The follow-up I just couldn't stand. I believe they had a table at ProgScape '96 (or one or more members were in attendance handing out flyers or samplers). --Peter

I bought the first one off of the band at Progfest '94. They had a table set up in the vendor room.

I got some mileage out of it back then.

Yep the first one is awesome. Wonderdrug somehowe lacks that weird spirit from the debut
and none of the songs is really convincing, but it's still a good (slightly average) Album.
