The Best Prog from the First Half of the Decade

If the decade started at the beginning of 2010 (and it did for the purposes of this thread, so don't give me any shit about it) then we are halfway done with the 10s.

So what are the best prog albums of the first half of this decade?

Here's my list, which, really, should be considered definitive. And yes, it's 12 albums instead of 10 because I couldn't bear leaving off the last two.

    1. Big Big Train, English Electric
    2. Devin Townsend Project, Ghost
    3. OSI, Fire Make Thunder
    4. Phideaux, Snowtorch
    5. IQ, The Road of Bones
    6. Anathema, Weather Systems
    7. Echolyn, Echolyn
    8. Riverside, Shrine of New Generation Slaves
    9. Steven Wilson, The Raven That Refused To Sing
    10. Umphrey's McGee, Similar Skin
    11. Haken, The Mountain
    12. Katatonia, Dead End Kings

I was recently bingeing on OSI in the car, good call. And definitely second that Big Big Train choice, as well.

Not sure what else. I'm still catching up on 2014, lollers.

Oh, oh, I definitely love Jolly's The Audio Guide to Happiness parts 1 and 2, that's up there.

EDIT: So, to recap (and add one):
Pineapple Thief, Someone Here is Missing
Jolly, The Audio Guide to Happiness parts 1 and 2
Big Big Train, English Electric: Full Power (so...also parts 1 and 2 plus a little bit -- a pattern?)
    OSI, Fire Make Thunder

Plasmatopia: Maybe a song in D minor that has never been played?

bob_32_116: That would be a terrific triple bill: Cyan, Magenta and Yello.

trurl: The Odyssey: "He's trying to get home."

I'm not good with lists, but I'll go with Big Big Train, add Marillion's STCBM, and probably the live and studio Anglagard. Everything else is taxing my memory too much.

I would say the Necromonkey official bootleg too.

That's a DAMN fine list! I didn't even know Yowie were still in existence! Guess they needed eight years just to rehearse material for a second album. Makes me wonder how long it'll take for Normal Love to come up with anything more advanced than Survival Tricks!

Yowie are still around with Christopher Trull of Grand Ulena now occupying one of the guitar slots. It definitely takes a while to perfect new material, but they are currently working on new material for a third release, so hopefully less than 8 years this time.

Ah, I suppose Grand Ulena are long gone now then... Always loved Gateway to Dignity. But the Yowie news are great, of course - I'll check it out for sure.
