Musical New Year's Resolutions

I only own two Opeth albums: Still Life and Ghost Reveries and have listened to parts of a few others. They are both okay but I haven't been blown away yet. I know it's me because they are so highly regarded by many people whose opinions I respect. Maybe it'll click in 2015.

That's the way Marillion was for me this year, it just clicked. Now I'm like "why didn't I like this band before". I just picked up Opeth's Heritage and it took a couple of spins and one play of the 5.1 soundtrack for it to really come together in my head.

My pumped-up chest and attitude do not precede me. I am self-confident but seek to coerce, er, uh, I mean control only myself.

I resolve to practice the guitar more regularly, learn tapping, start chords, and perhaps start learning actual songs.
