    Learn how to code - I wrote a brief program once; it wasn't called coding then

    Go on a nerdy date - done. Everything scientists do is deemed nerdy

    Bake adorable geeky cookies - I let my daughter do that

    Learn how to use a DSLR - I'm grandfathered into this. No choice. I predate digital, geekdom, hipsterism, and irony.

    Not quite geeky, more redneck: Ride the Gravedigger.

    A few years ago we drove down from Boston to the Outer Banks, NC. On the way down we pass the garage of the monster truck Gravedigger. We see a sign for rides, so we pull into the lot. No rides that day; the Digger is in the shop. One of these days I will ride the Gravedigger, even if my family has to hire it to be my hearse.
