Why would a bird be crying if it was about to be released? Wouldn't it be twittering happily?

Maybe from joy! I've been working on this mfer for a year and have wanted to make it for 2 years..stuff happens and things take longer. I'm sure I'll be doing plenty of Twittering as I get closer to releasing it. You have to, among many things. I didn't do it nearly enough or wisely enough during/after releasing my first 2, to drum up enough interest on a wider scale. To make this group of songs, the idea was to start the LP in January and let it take 12 months for some songs to sit and others to be created, so that I could hit all seasons squarely...bird migration...change of seasons and so forth. I play all the instruments myself, aside from 2 guests jumping in. Fell in love with playing bass and keyboards during all this time. Normally, I like to get things done as quickly as possible, but I was curious to see how the recording and songwriting process would unfold this way. Hopefully people will enjoy it, as much as I did making it. Slaving over mixes of final 3 songs. And so it goes.

The Cry Of A Bird is out now digitally. I hope you like it. Tracks off of it are just starting to get played on House Of Prog and the album will be featured on the 9th on Friday Night Progressive.
