    New Faust - j US t

I think I got the title right, new album for Peron and Diermeyer, just the two of them. I'm off to pick it up on the way home from work, any one else had a listen yet? Some clips below. Sounds like, um, Faust!

Yes, I've got the LP (Which I think came with a CD). It reminds me a lot of Faust IV and The Faust Tapes... Some mad stuff mixed up with some gentle stuff. It's pretty good. I think it's better than the last two albums this lineup did.

I guess the 'other' Faust isn't doing any more albums as their last album was called 'Faust is Last'.

Their (Peron and Diermaier) best in many years!
    Lovely album!

“j US t”—pronounced “Just Us”—is the new album from legendary Hamburg band Faust. Founder members Jean-Hervé Peron and Zappi Diermaier have laid down twelve musical foundations, inviting the whole world to use them as a base on which to build their own music. The tracks presented by Peron and Diermaier are clearly, intrinsically typical of Faust in their own right, yet offer enough space for completely different works to develop. Which is exactly what they hope will happen."

Bah! Faust without Roger Waters isn't really Faust.
