I can feel a power of consolation in this dark music for such a hard times like these days that I'm unfortunately going through ...

But, then, finally listened again to this beloved one of mine after such a long time... , surprising .. its such an opposite atmosphere was capable of make me literally breakdown and cry.

Mott The Hoople - MC Escher cover debut

One of the 2 bonus tracks is an interesting cover of Neil Young's "Ohio".

That I have got to hear. The Sir Douglas Quintet cover on that first Mott album, "At the Crossroads," is probably even better than Sir Doug's. Tons heavier for sure.

Am on the third disk of the Barclay James Harvest anthology All Is Safely Gathered In. Really like this band, though sometimes I wish they put a little more "oomph" into the music. It can be a bit too laid back.
