Checking out this interesting performance of a fun song by Par Lindh, by someone else.
W/o the few timing/hesitation issues here and there, would become better. Maybe he'll re-play one day.
Sounded like a wrong note around 1:07.

Tonight's menu: Some favorites, the only new one is the Camel.

The Other Ones -The Strange Remain Disc 1. Hornsby and Kimock fit so well, these guys may have been even better than the Grateful Dead. Since they didn't write, we'll never know.

Tangerine Dream -Live Encore. The one to point the TD novice toward. Some dodgy drumming, but still very enjoyable.

Anglagard -Hybris. It was a revelation to me seeing them live in '93 and buying the disc. It holds up over time. A first rate masterpiece, and the first offering from the very best of the modern bands.

Camel -Rainbow's End: An Anthology 1973-1985. Great compilation of already released and previously unreleased. (I think.) One of the greats, imo.

A performance I posted to this thread 1-2 weeks ago was of a song called Cuckoo Bird, and it was a performance by The Watson Family. A few minutes ago I saw Steve Martin, Edie Brickell and others perform this song together in the PBS TV program American Epic Sessions -- a music performance/sessions episode within the American Epic documentary, which was mentioned in another thread by someone else. I much prefer The Watson Family version of this tune. As a matter of fact, I prefer it to all other performances/versions I’ve heard on youtube during the last few months on and off. Just mentioning this tidbit. Later, cheers.

Cielo e Terra and Soaring Through a Dream are two very non-typical DiMeola albums, for sure. I dig both.

Canadian composer Marc Sabat has a cd of works for string quartet, titled Harmony.I still have an interest in contemporary "classical/new music" but so little of what i hear appeals to me.This cd is different, at least, so far it is.

I can't get this NP thread to come up with a search, so I always have to wait until someone else finds it.

In the vehicle: Listening to "The Eye" by King Diamond. Rarely see King Diamond in any format. Was passing the cassettes in a thrift store, not paying much attention, when the "King Diamond" name caught my eye. I didn't even have this album before, though I have a couple others on CD. Great driving music, although children seem to find it a bit frightening.

In the home: Bob Dylan Bootleg Series Vol. 3, 1961-1991. I guess this is sold as Vol. 1-3 on 3 discs. I just found Vol. 3. Having part of the set is better than having none of it. Fantastic all the way through.
