Them or Us musically is a great album - unfortunately it is infected with a heavy 80's digital virus with those horrendous electronic drums (toms - yuck). Wacky Wackerman seems to have wised up and corrected his error for the '88 band with an acoustic set. If this album was recorded in say '78 or'79, this would be killer.
I've often wondered why Zappa let that creep into his records. Still, that aside, a great album.

The drum sounds on Them Or Us never bothered me. I don't care what Wackerman is using, the percussion writing and performance on Sinister Footwear is phenomenal!
