Little known trivia that nobody really cares about: Phil Chen was the first non-white musician to appear on MTV. One of Rod Stewart's videos was something like the 3rd or 4th video ever played on MTV, and since Phil was Rod The Mod's bassist at the time, that gives Phil that particular distinction.
