    R.I.P. Jacques THOLLOT

Just found out now that this great drummer has passed away several days ago, on the 2/10.
    Very sad to hear,
His album from 71 - "Quand Le Son Devient Aigu, Jeter La Girafe À La Mer" is one of my alltime favourites.

    RIP...

that album is the only one I heard. How are his others: Resurgence and Cinq Hops?
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

Very sad news. Count me among the devoted fans of "Quand Le Son Devient Aigu, Jeter La Girafe À La Mer".

I havent heard Resurgence yet, but Cinq Hops is nice- not as groundbreaking as Giraffe, and more in the zeuhl vein (with female vocals) , not a bad album.

Sad to hear it. Excellent drummer indeed.
