The video clip posted is killer!

I hear some Neu! influence as well, but more like it is crossed with Ash Ra Tempel in a jam with Amon Duul II.

The advantages of analog recording are also quite evident.

Wait. You are not referring to the classic Sun Ra record "My Brother the Wind?" Weird!

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Wait until you hear the vinyl. I had The Mastering Lab (Dark Side Of The Moon, etc) cut the lacquers. Sounds ridiculous.

I got some great mileage out of their debut so this will be an auto-buy for me!

Any word on the LP version of this yet, Ken?

You have a bunch of vinyl I want but I've been holding off since I wanted to grab this on vinyl as well.

Early in the week. We had to order special mailers to accomodate the tip on sleeve. I'm really pleased the way it turned out.

Finally broke the shrink wrap on this and ripped it to my iPhone for today. Listened during my commute. At first I wasn't so impressed, but a couple minutes toward the end of Garden of Delights I realized the band was into a really great groove. Just then a made my way into an NYC 1 train that was packed to the friggin rafters and there I am with this incredible groove playing in my noise canceling over-ear headphones. I wasn't sure if it was the absolutely right or wrong place for it, but I was only on for one stop then was expelled from the crowded train. As I made my way upstairs to the gloriously frigid air, MBTW was back to playing something much more placid...

It's a good album. It seems like noodling, but the band is getting good sounds and the rhythm section knows what they're doing.

It's improv, so you cannot expect tightly woven compositions cover-to-cover. I prefer "jammed" music to rigidly composed music . I like the sense of immediacy you get from this sort of music. When a band agonizes over every note and every chord change it sometimes get a little sterile and contrived, imo...

It's a great jammy spacey album, it grooves like a bastard.

I just at first was thinking it didn't seem much better or different from much of the stuff Oresund Space Collective lets you download for free. But I now think it's very good . I like the raga-ish sound it has at times. I kept telling myself Ken wouldn't have released this if it wasn't pretty good.

Glad to learn that 'we' can now judge music's value based on whether or not one has to pay for it....
