    Damn. That was mouth watering. I love Penfold's wine although I doubt the bottles I buy are quite as classy as the ones Alex picks up.

    All I know about wines are that some are red or white. Other than that, I know *nothing* about wines, their dates & whatnot. It was just cool to see his cellar & the quick glimpse of an old photo of himself by the entrance.

    actually i was more impressed with the wine cellar it self. it used to be a sauna and he converted it and left all the wood finish. it wasn't really fancy, but it did the job.

    Wow, that made me feel better about my bald spot - I ain't got nothing on Alex in that department!

    Aquavit sounds like the stuff you can get in Iceland, I forget the name. Tastes like liquid rye bread.

    Lots of bottles from many eras. It looks like time stands still in his wine cellar. I guess it's time to draw another goblet from the cask of 43.

    That's cool. I only recently have begun to really appreciate wine. I still like the occasional beer but I've expanded my palette a bit.
