This will make a pretty cool double album on par with the lamb imo. Some hit and miss songs on both. Most of the hits were missing from the original warchild soundtrack though

War Child itself, Queen & Country, Back-Door Angels, The Third Hoorah. That's all worthy for me of LP version. On the CD version, all 6 bonus tracks are good.

I hope they include a longer version of "Saturation." It sounds edited to me. By far the best bonus track.

I have the old version, but love the remixes and the 5.1.
Not Milking to me, just updating and making better.
You don't want it...don't buy it!

Fine track but glory row and sealion 2 I love as well. Rainbow blues, paradise steakhouse, quartet, March the mad scientist and warchild waltz aren't far off either. Can't wait to hear Tomorrow was today. Wonder what godmother sounds like. Is beaches parts 1 and 2 among the orchestral tracks?

I LOVE Too Old, man. That album is one of Tull's best - underrated. Criminally so.

Too Old remains my least favourite of the 70s Tull albums. It has some good tracks, but if I'm forced to rank the albums from This Was through to at least Broadsword, Too Old is at the bottom. I love War Child though!

Least favorite 70s Tull album? Gee, that's gotta be Aqualung for me. Overplayed. Still love quite a number of tracks, though - just burned out on it.

Yeah baby! I started a thread on it a few years back after I had it spinning in the car for about a week. I can't wait to hear a proper SW stereo mix that takes away that high end harshness and tightens and fattens up the ass. Crazy good writing and genius guitar playing by Ian again. Salamander is a song that deserves worshiping.

Looking forward to the quad album too. The quad of bungle is better than the original. Can't remember the other quads too well though. I'd say there are others that sound better as quad too. Side 2 of aqualung sounds better as quad. It's the vocals that sound better mainly

Just pre-ordered this from Amazon.ca... current price is $52.28 but I'm hoping that drops by the time release date rolls around.

Sounds cool. I like the accordion bits on this album. Queen and country is a great track
