We can probably compile a comparatively short list of musicians who by all the laws of logic should have carked it long ago, due to alcohol abuse, drug abuse, or general unhealthy lifestyles, but somehow are still with us:
- Alice Cooper
- Keith Richards
- Bob Lind (gave up the booze long ago, like Alice, but at one stage was basically an alcoholic, like Alice)
- Elton John
and of course the guy from Motley Crue, whose name eludes me, the inspiration for the song "Kickstart My heart".
I would add Eric Clapton to that list, It's amazing he even made it through 70s.
"The White Zone is for loading and unloading only. If you got to load or unload go to the White Zone!"
I might be stating the obvious here and don't mean to leave important people out but what a nutty and sad year this has been for the loss of greatly talented people in music.
