Funny you should ask it like that. Here in Cincinnati I will occasionally shut off the ipod and put on one of the two classic rock stations and what do I hear? Nothing but commercials. I swear they must play 5 minutes of commercials at a time followed by maybe 3 or 4 songs before they do 5 more minutes of commercials.
