    Should I ?

I've mentioned before on PE that I'm gradually burning my vinyl into mp3's. This includes cleaning the vinyl. (My collection started with 2nd hand records at 12 years old, the stuff that comes out the grooves can be frightening). I've finished all my Genesis stuff and just behind them is "No Jacket Required". So the question is, should I skip it and go onto the next one? I've not listened to this album since its one and only whirl on my turntable after purchase. What d'ya think?

'No Jacket Required' required. Skip it.

I can answer that in one word: Su-Su-ssudio!

Well I can't say about that one, but are you not burning lossless files first, and then converting them to MP3?

I like Take Me Home. The vibraphone is quite tasty. The album has a few other decent songs as well. I'd convert it to mp3. You can always delete the trash like Sussudio.

Your first impressions and gut instincts will usually serve you well. Trust them.

I think that's more or less unanimous. Next in line my Be Bop Deluxe albums. No competition.

They are only for playing on my personal mp3 player and the quality is good enough for that to my ears.

Do it until you are satisfied. whatever it is.

I need to get around to doing this soon before I expire or forget I have the vinyl.

It's not an album that time has been kind to. 'Long Long Way To Go', 'Take Me Home', 'Inside Out' and 'I Don't Wanna Know' are the songs I like most.
