Whether you like his drumming or not, surely these global accolades may possibly kind of sort of imply that CP may possibly be considered a legend in the grand scheme of things? Possibly?
But his timing is off!! ROTFL!

He is scheduled to be in Atlanta with ASIA in OCT and the Carl Palmer Band in NOV....sure hope both of these gigs are still going to happen.
Well, let's see...75 replies, 4200 views...and as far as I know, the real fact never came out: it was all a joke/he is not retiring. And if someone did make it clear that he was not retiring it was covered up because we DID have lots of bad-joke posts about the banjo part which clearly was Palmer being funny. And we DID get to have dozens of posts about how terrible his time-keeping is/was, whether "legendary" is applicable, etc.

All I know is that I have drummed for 35 years and I still cannot come close to Mr. Palmer's skills and achievements; in my opinion, that precludes me from passing a negative judgement about his playing. I do know that I was thrilled with his recorded performances and by seeing him play live three times.

OK so I am not retiring but you all know that .
Just thought I would share with you all the very first instrument I played when I was Seven .
If I get enough requests before I leave on the 9th I will post another one of me playing and singing .
    Now there a treat !!!!!
You might all ask me to retire !
