Is there still one band to announce, or is DJ also doing his own set for the last slot, Michael?

Good question - looking at the ProgDay web site is looks like there are still only 7 bands listed, although it's been updated to say Alex Carpani Band with David Jackson.

So I think one more band to be announced...?

Yeah, you get a little buzz each time, just like those chimps that keep pressing the button to get their pleasure center stimulated - because that last band COULD be posted at any moment!

Will you tell him his apparel is 'tatty and old' ?

You know, Jed, sometimes I think you mean well, but your 'humorous postings' are pretty often pretty mean-spirited. And not in a funny way.

Oh, come on, can't you tell I didn't really think of his hat as "tatty?" That's a common British phrase. He just has it on in EVERY photo, so I assume he always wears it for performances, and it's funny to think we're going to see it up close. I guess I'm going to have to start using a more often to avoid upsetting you.

I apologize to David Jackson's hat.

    Cool announcement!

I saw Jackson at Baja Prog playing with Osanna. It was a great fit.

Agreed. What are some of his best recordings outside of VdGG/PH. I've only heard Osanna and The Long Hello.
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.

Jaxon played with my Chicago blues band, Howard and the White Boys, when we were on tour in Europe back in '02 (little did I know then that I'd be interviewing him a few years later, for about 2 1/2 years, for the VdGG book I co-wrote!). This clip is from a club called Riff's Bar in Swindon, England.
