Lozaga and Rowe backed her when she played here a while back. Sublime.
I parsed that as "The insults of your poll are back in. But the findings are inconclusive...."
Hmmm.
I remember those odd shaped North drums from either the 76 or 77 tour, if not both. Never knew what to call them!
A classy interview, clickbaited. I'm guessing you've never read articles that don't utilize it.
Saw them at the late, great Winchester here in Cleveland. I remember reading about him stopping mid-show a number of years ago, confessing to the audience that he needed help.
Bless him, he...

Sandman - nothing else even approaches.
I chatted with Mick when he and JL did a nice little light show/dj thing here in Cleveland what, 2 years ago? Lovely man.
Hope the worst is past.
Gods yes. Bassssssssssssssssssss...
Why? :roll

My idol.
It's on right now - my 12-year-old's fave. And it IS great!
Very cool footage of everything horrid that people remember from the era. Hard to believe they went that far south...
Outstanding. Thank you for this.
Naw - you ever hear Steeler? Hot on Your Heels is the cat's ass, despite the vocals...
Marvellous show last night in Cleveland. I recall reading of JW having some serious problems some years back but you'd never know it now. Claims of him sounding as he did in 1973 are spot on. Not...
Looks fascinating!
If Meet on the Ledge is not played at my funeral someone's gonna get an asskicking.
Hell yeah! Of course, the spoken intro makes sense of this one.
The dvd is desert island material all the way.
Dr Hook - I Got Stoned and I Missed It
*sigh*
When I read what he had, I bowed my head. Bright Blessings to you, Cyndee.
He stayed in the background for decades - I always wished he had done more films. A talented martial artist.
A giant has passed.
Hells yes. Very unique player and a fine songwriter. Major, major talent.
Lord of the Rings LCG is definitely my fave. Hoping to get into Arkham Horror, if I ever get through the rulebook...
It feels less than comfortable to voice a differing opinion here when the artist is involved in the thread. That said, I tried but it failed to grab me. At all.
It's a grower. We enjoy it much more now, tho I really prefer the beginning to the end. The orcs are just...annoying. Hopefullly young Bolg will add something.
A true original. What he did with what he had was positively monumental.
All I know is that it's a damn strong album.
Saw him way back in '82 or so in front of maybe a hundred people. Not exactly to everybody's taste, but one helluva player. Seemed a decent guy too.
AUGH
:O
Sigh... The world I knew escapes me, piece by piece...
Twas never blaming you for it - order sent! :) Me been waiting for this for a very long time. Thanks for making it happen!
"not cheap"? 60 USD is fucking INSANE.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Monster player, the band was never the same to me after he left.
Love it.
Not far east at all. Just east of I-77. Less than an hour from Akron.
Oh dear.
For an outstanding take on "authentic" vocal music of the era(s) check out Owain Phyfe. He did songs from the 12th-17th century, sung in the original languages. There is a lot of him on Youtube. ...
I stopped buying it. There's only so much I can read about Saint Steven, his pals Mike and Bobby and a small assortment of female singers.
BASTARDS. Cinemark web site says HFR, but NO. Enraged emails to commence. Movie still fun, though.
One last time into the breach this afternoon with my 11 year old fangirl and a noob. Wife refuses to share same area code. $9 for HFR IMAX clone at Cinemark. Final judgment to follow. I know -...
I've liked much of what I've heard.
*boggle*
Great soundtrack, though.
Check out Night Shift. Far and away his best short story collection imo.
I've always felt that the quality of his work has tended to be in inverse proportion to it's length.
Totally digging this.
Nelson's vocals fit perfectly imo. And he's still got it today! The only thing I'd change about BBD is perhaps fleshing the live band out a bit. So many recordings sound...empty-ish.
Their first album is by far their best imo. Thanks for the reminder - putting it in the car now :)
Re: King: His On Writing is perhaps the best book ever on the subject.
Snoopy vs the Red Baron by The Royal Guardsmen shortly followed by The Strawberry Alarm Clock's Incense and Peppermints. Both LPs, not singles.
Ya - Hope you ain't been hacked...
I hate to say it, but Tolkein. Just finished LoTR for the first time in eons and the horrid faux-Jacobean dialog just kills it for me any more. I blame Peter Jackson, but again that's another topic.
Damn - a fine insight. Sadly seems the case in much of the arts. But that's another topic, best left elsewhere.
Oy - you need to read different Vonnegut...
After devoting countless hours to the Black Tower series, the cheap utter crap ending left me unable to read any more of his work. I was pissed about that for months. That and his penchant for...
