I went last week to the "acoustic" RTF show and was really blown away.... don't have tickets for this one unfortunately...
well this thread is beyond ridiculous, but I received my box last week and have played some of the Blu Rays so far and they are excellent.
sound quality and packaging is killer.
see you NYC freaks over there....X)
has anyone actually listened to it?
how's the sound & bonus material?
I am super excited for this box and I think it may actually ship tomorrow!
yeah that Document 73 is a weird one, I an I can usually handle weird!
this show is incredible! saw it last year at United Palace in NYC
it is a must see
for a band that is seen as robotic, computerized etc, they really made my soul dance
the production of course is...

great players and some cool music going on but have to agree the vocals are hard to take
the buttons were for the venue LPR, not Magma buttons

I'm up for a PE hang at KC NYC
so excited - never really thought I would see KC again after 2008.
going all out with multiple nights/venues, KC is the only band I follow like that anymore since...

fear not audients, I shall not be selling grilled cheese in the parking lot.
it's really outdated technology
not sure it would even load on a modern computer

the password for the Heavy ConstruKction video is "rome"
I was there - great show!
enjoyed it thoroughly
I have the new box and the only thing I can compare it to is the original Dovetail CD of Afterswish and I prefer the old Dovetail CD. There is obvious tweaking happening on the tracks which is...
:( so sad ... playing Banco now
what a loss
I am so thankful to NEARfest for fulfilling my dream of seeing Banco
thanks for the tip - ! got my UK order in...
I get his updates on Facebook and really find them irritating, I should probably unsubscribe. Too much!
this guy goes on & on about everything - can he ever just get to the point?
who gives a crap about the granular details about his manufacturer and so on
this is an excellent re-recording....with I had sprung for the DVD-A when I had the chance...
mine arrived ...you will probably get it soon.
I'm more interested in the Zappa issue though
funny I was wondering about this too, since I subscribe and still have not received my YES CTTE issue
I am a pretty hardcore KC nut, already have all the KCCC and tons of DGM live shows but now that I am getting around to starting to digest this box it is blowing me away...
to hear the tour in...
thanks!
really glad I got to see this tour in New York, a very memorable show
was there an opening act in LA? what time did Goblin go on? (asking for my brother who has tickets for tonight - lucky guy!)
maybe they will do a massive box of the Three of a Perfect Pair tour...that one is still unreleased in the series and I know Fripp has called the final 80's show released as 'Absent Lovers'...
love these guys so much - happy to see them back and staying hopeful that they will play the US next year
NYC show was awesome , Brian Wilson's band did the entire Pet Sounds album for the 1st set and when Jeff Beck came out doing Mahavishnu stuff it was slayin' time...
3rd combo set was super sweet -...
I'm going on Tuesday night, and am getting fairly excited - I think it will be a great time.
there was a version with Belew on vocals on the box set "Frame by Frame" & a version with Greg Lake on vocals on the Wake of Poseidon 40th issue.

3 drummers and a bassist is a conventional back line? ha ha
Hello
I have 2 tickets for
Steve Hackett
Strand Center for the Arts, Lakewood, NJ

Seat location: section ORCH/C, row J, seats 204-205
hard tickets
$140 is face value...
I have tried many brands and types, also in NYC and my favorite is the Westone earbud.
I currently use the W4, which are pricy, but they also have less expensive options.
the phoenix stuff with a live band sounds fantastic....will be getting this one
i'm going down to check it out, hope to see some of the NF crew
:)
I want them to sell enough tickets so they can bring in Magma or PFM in the future...
maybe too obvious but also
Stomu Yamashta
&
YMO/Ryuichi Sakamoto
are good ones
how about Boris?
they do some killer doom/drone/stoner rock stuff.
I saw them once and they were crazy loud, even with plugs on.
huge orange amps
sounds like SC3 wil slay too, awesome double bill
fall is looking proggy for me
with Hackett, Goblin/SC3 & Hawkwind all within a short span.
ok good even better...
!
glad to see it's a HOT TICKET!
nice! I still have my original from Laser's Edge and I saw the "tour" ! - ProgFest '95
:)
OK folks - happy Goblin fan here ....checked Ticketmaster and the NYC show has been moved to Webster Hall and tickets are now on sale.
see you there?
Very sorry to hear of this - my condolences to you Cyndee and RIP Jeff
stay tuned I shall...don't want to miss this one
damn just logged on for the brooklyn show and can only pull a VIP ticket?
no, but I got really THRaKeD up in the '90s!
nice pictures, thank you!
I have been there and had a blast, did you also go to Disk Union?
They have a whole prog-rock store, when I was there they had MAGMA wallpaper and were giving away...
