Hot on the heels of KORNMO debut offering 'Svartizen' (2017), comes their second CD 'Vandring' which should please many aficionados of top notch instrumental progressive rock. This trio project was...
Freedom To Glide is a side project of Pete Riley and Andy Nixon (who are still involved to PF-tribute act Dark Side Of The Wall). Apart from that, Andy is a permanent guitar player for Badfinger.
What did I mean?.. Every once in a while a new group comes that's really head and shoulders above the crowd. The conceptual idea is the foundation of what F2g strives for, to all intents and...
F2g are one of a very few forward-thinking progressive acts who keep the genre alive and kicking, wonderfully fresh. I love these guys! :horns
The brand new album will be released very soon. Below you can see a full track-listing:
01. Seed
02. Holding On
03. No Turning Back
04. Undertones Of War
05. The Right Within The Wrong

Make no doubt, CD "Clocks That Tick (But Never Talk)" is simply a wonderful album, displaying the immense musical, vocal, instrumental and arranging talents of Grand Tour.. :cool
Earlier this day I was fortunate enough to hear the brand new Grand Tour album. Awesome! :up It will be the strongest contender for the best prog-release of 2019. At least, to me. :horns
Very promising debut album, a good visiting card. Regrettably I had some difficulties with the vocal performance of Matt Magieri whose cold voice is absolutely not suited for the excellent,...
Lost gem from the 70's epoch.

New Jersey-based OVERWORLD DREAMS have just released their debut album 'Voyage'. Ed Unitsky (TFK, Starcastle, Unitopia, The Tangent, Riversea, Manning, Anima Mundi, United Progressive Flaternity and...
I prefer CAS, comparing with both IT and WCD.
The debut was much better, comparing with the new release.
What do you think about this?

Contrary to you, I don't like this SE album at all. :down
Their cover version of "Play To The World" is absolutely the best tribute to BJH I've ever heard. :up

In May 2018, MATTHEW BROWNING wowed me with the spectacular album ‘Love & Grief’. Quite frankly, this digipack has intrigued me once I laid my eyes on the beautiful front-cover painting; and then...
Fleesh are busy working on their Marillion tribute album.
At the moment, I liked this great version of "Seasons End" even more that the original.

Another discovery who gave me a great deal of listening pleasure is FLEESH from Brazil. Initially, I thought the duo of female singer Gabby Vessoni and multi-instrumentalist Celo Oliveira are...
Rather good stuff.
Electric Light Orchestra - Roll Over Beethoven.
Spectre - Welcome To The Machine
A short quotation from the respectful author: "If you put a bunch of progressive rock lovers into a room and asked them to vote for their all-time favorite classic prog group, I suspect that Genesis...

If you appreciate Riversea, give a listen to Matthew Browning whose debut album is incredibly melodic and much more emotional and diverse, comparing with "The Tide".
Yet another stunning debut album which has come into my personal top 5 for current year.

Paul Young was the lead singer for Mike & The Mechanics as well.
Having heard this album in its entirety, I really impressed.
One more new release:
Southern Empire (the band of former Unitopia leader Sean Timms) will release their second album 'Civilisation'...
The first article doesn't look favorable.

From the musical stand-point, second mission is absolutely unsuccessful. IMO.
Their debut album was a stunner. Unfortunately I don't like their second full-length release. At all...
Their strongest album for many years. Although, it doesn't reach the splendour and monumentality of "The Visitor".
My top 5 (so far):
Kayak - Seventeen
Moonshine Blast - Reality Fear
Matthew Browning - Love & Grief
Arena - Double Vision
Dukes Of The Orient - s/t
I was quite impressed with some previous clips from the project. What's a schedule for the debut album?
Hi noni. Being a long-time member of "old" forum, I'm not sure to be involved to the new one. Sorry to say about that...
I have heard some tracks from new version of "FFH" album. Really impressed with the musicianship and arrangements. But I don't like some vocal parts. :(
As I know, Starcastle plan to complete the recording before the end of current year.
Their new album 'A Tower Of Clocks' should be released in April.
Oddly enough, no one mentioned Mirage from France yet.
Sad news.

As far as I know, it's entitled "The Spotlight Effect" (seven tracks, including 19 min. epic).
The brand new album should be out fairly soon (a Spring release is on the cards).
Just have a read. ;)
