Time is relentlessly.
MoeTar has an excellent sound and feel they hooked me pretty fast. So many great young prog bands.
Dam I've got to find my glasses for those facey things I know some of you --- guy's are sensitive........ :oops
Ahhhhhh I forgot the little smilly thingy. or the up arrow thingy. This whole message was for Nogbad.
You are quite right about the roadies making more than the musians at times.
I'll be here checking things out for a few more weeks then I go back and give my report. Sorry... Prog fans are not going to do well this time at all! :rofl
No the only protests today are roadies complaining about labor wages as most bands can only afford 1 and the union is just not helping anymore. The technology they actually embrace. The lighting...
I'm trying... I'm trying...... Can't really see the little F**kers anyway when your tying to pick them from the chart... Glad it ain't a big turd or a finger insult.
But in this case I might...
I was being nice to three guy's I know who fit this description now except for the beards.
:(
I have a hard enougn time hitting the frets and finding my mark on vocals anymore as it is. I had a lot of fun in the past. Smoked Lbs of the stuff.... Even sealed off a room sexed out the male from...
I wonder if they will have the ability to know who the very last prog fan is someday in the not to far future. Perhaps they will do an interview with the old bastard. (Sorry, but I have to assume it...
Asia is prog right? :lol
Yep there's about 600 discerning listeners out there. All kinds of fantastic Prog bands out there keepin the craft alive. Only "a very few" who can support their craft from the music they write...
Good Point... Entwistle was as commanding and non traditional in his role on the bass as Keith was on drums. Pete was a brilliant writer and incredible guitarist and Roger set the standard for the...
Yeah, good point about this song. But then again; Keith played lead on everything.
He could have powered a small city if they could have made a harness stong enough to hold him.
I've heard Jean Luc is tough to work with, I sorta figured this would happen.
Really good point.
It's possible that someday soon a Rapper might find the cure for aging in McCartney's Jeans.

Radio Friendly, Great groove. Great hook, and ya remember it! Always wanted to cover this song with a rock cover band... but no...never could get...
Nevermind. guess we are good? I thought an emoticon after an odd insult might be OK for friends or a funny jab between people who, at least, know each other. Guess this is wrong.. I'll have to...
Why would I deserve an obviously pointed personal comment from you? Please use the private message board and lets work this foolishness out.
My comment was supposed to simply be funny..? My...
I am so glad I don't have to live in this world. You people are fun to visit though...!
Do they still take attendance at these things?
The 80's had so much to offer, how can you possibly attempt to analyze any part of the the unlimited genius of the 80's!

You mean Jethro Tull
Great instruments. I have a Custom Made Ovation Adamas 1 Baritone with the newest electronics and contour body. It is a "one of". I had it made along with another standard Neck Adamas 1 a few years...
So True!
"Prog Jerks" !!! OMG now that's f**kn funny!
Prog Jerk; Same as a regular Jerk, only lacking a predictable stumble rhythm or annoyance pattern often expressing themselves through...
I am blown away by the list I see here and others mentioned. The Hall of Fame's induction system is flawed beyond value.
I alomst have come to expect the typical Prog Snub but Deep Purple ? ...
Well I guess that was a bit pointed... hit some nerves I guess.. but if the time that I took to be an ass about being an ass has helped to keep this thread opened long enough for you to now convey...
"I've Had Enough" has finally landed in my repertoire as my favorite piece of all time from them. Not their most well known song for sure.. "Slip Kid" has become a close second for me. This choice...
I get political views shoveled at me in the real world..... I come here for music discussion and at times this site actually has some good discussions about prog.
Some of you seem to live...
Yeah what could he know about it.
I find am confused and I feel a little dirty.
Queensryche "Silent Lucidity" Sounds like it was taken right off a Division Bell era, Pink Floyd recording.
Well this concert for Circuline was in their neck o' the woods, so it makes sense they had more people. From Trurl's comment I am glad everyone had a good night and that things went better farther...
I've got my Albums and I've got my acoustic guitars.... all I need is a good crank handle record player set for 33 1/3 and a pick and I'll survive.
They won't drop bombs on me, right?
Awww do I have to? I just got used to dialing in the dinosaur sounds I wanted on my Cyber Twin head. I run mine with matching unpowered cabs that I built for the fun of true stereo when I want. ...
Well, how was the show? Lots of promotion, and a well known headline band and Todd's famous stomping grounds to boot! That theater still does draw a decent crowd for some shows.
"Why did Jon Anderson leave Yes"
"Yes"
As a musician Zappa was always a hero to me. He was about the coolest guy I ever saw on stage and his flippant attitude about producing an album in anyway he wanted was just frosting on the ham. ...
Having been introduced to Genesis with "The Lamb"... (falling totally in love with this album at first listen...) I did not have to linger long with Peter Gabriel in my mind as the bands Vocalist...
It's nice to see some local NY musicians doing something worthwhile for sure. Nice Job Bill ! really, I know quite well the effort involved and the heart and soul you invest in an endeavour like...
"Inca Roads" from "One Size Fits All" by the Master himself...
"I know what I like and I like what I know" With that said;
I love the more obscure prog suggestions. Members like youself, who seem to have an encyclopedia of prog music in your heads, often...
I have to admit TARKUS & GATES are hard to beat. But "The Hamburger Concerto" album side has some outstanding passages as one continuous piece of music. The entire album stands out as an...
Nice hook..... Music keeps you hanging just long enough... And for my opinion of the voice (as a vocalist myself), just when I was thinking your bassist voice was going to disappoint, the song...
I've been told some women love to get naked and dance to Roundabout, apparently there's proof. But still a myth for me.
Also, I saw the guy who looks like Jesus in the white robes once at a...
Click.. Click... Click click... Ok That's good boys.. That's it... smile... Now Show me the love Click Click... click click.... OK relax... take a break..

I'm trying to work this out, It's a real foot tapper..... !
I am finding it difficult to play and sing at the same time.
I am pretty sure "Prog Rock" does not have a sense of humor... although when ya think about it...... "Asia" was pretty funny.
Disappoints the Jazz purists.... And Pisses off the Rock Fans.! or visa versa...... Falls somewhere into musician humor for musicians only. But everyone claps lightly as it was cool but they are...
Interesting, I would think this would almost always take a good acoustical backdrop to record in this way. A studio might be the only "good" way to get a recording of any worth. What is most...
Also a band called FAT MAX....... I know they covered Yes, Genesis, Gentle Giant, King Crimson, Jethro Tull. They got a call one night after playing a gig on Long Island.. to open and do a short...
Nice Job.......!!!! Lots of talent in this forum.
Ohhhhhh There we go again... I was just going to list my favorite Prog Bands... but we got proggy rules to follow.
So deep the hole.
There's no proggy rules, this will get messy !
A mind to waste is a thing terrible.
