no, there's is an official DVD from MVD for the High Voltage concert.
it's officially available.
fuddy-duddy!, yet you won't tell US the store?
Ambrosia is a huge replacement!
seriously?? Still on this? By the way, it is too, not to. :roll
I think any true completist would have all the live albums and even official fan club releases (if any). But not bootlegs, since by definition they aren't even band releases. Plus it's going to be...
that's the way to do it. :up. I do this a lot. What's funny is when you get people trying to sell a ticket above face value or tell you how the show is awesome, once in a lifetime/whatever. I just...
well with Asia you have "Asia" and "Asia Featuring John Payne". And I think officially Asia is like "Asia: All Four Original Members" or something like that...which, of course, isn't accurate...
gee...thanks.....who are you again? The only person who can act like a (non)moderator is Progeezer. And after those pics on the subculture forum we all know the progeezer is god.
Little River Band / Beeb Burtles Shorock
that one doesn't count- BBS toured as...BBS.
But yes, agree, this is hardly the first time.
i'm not sure what this is implying. You do know that Gunn is now in a band that only plays 70's Gabriel music, right?
High Voltage...from '11?
The Sam Goody in Atlantic City used to sell bootlegs. They called the section "Imports". Ah, the good ol' days.
Sean, I already got the grouch on ignore....done deal.
his credits go back to the Tommy movie Soundtrack.
:roll
Thanks Sean - I found it, just go to community and member list, look up the member and there's the option to put that person on Ignore.
gotta love the "Bonus Cuts" - re-recordings of the hits.
wow, that is pretty neat.
sure is Yanks

sean - i've actually asked this before when PE3 came out- is there an ignore function. I'd definately like to ignore that shrimpo.
Simon's been in the band basically since the mid 70's.
ok Oscar
Cleopatra Records huh- sounds like he's in second place already.
ok Oscar
Wells Fargo center...for now. I wish there was a Philly show too. I just got into Muse in the last year after those shows happened. I'm sure they will be back though, unless they are one of these...
actually just deleted that comment - apparently though, this thread is asshole heavy, myself included apparently.
wow, that was rude. I guess you are the true asshole of the thread then.
that's funny- I mean, isn't dimedozen bootlegs anyway? Who cares - people have been selling bootlegs since the beginning of time. I won't destroy the industry now any more or any less than when it...
What really makes the current (and '96) Quad shows killer are the horns. The horns are fucking awesome. Now before any geezers tell me "well, if you had seen the REAL Quad shows in the 70's...blah...
glad to see the early reviews are good. Looking forward to the PA show in April.
:lol
yes, i'm very well aware of that. Just like the Nazi symbol didn't always mean what it means today. But still...for fucks sake, did Skinheads need to the be "example" for subculture? Disappointed...
I saw several from both tours. Both tours were great. Current doesn't include guest stars or any narration. It's all about the music. Few extra jams too from what I recall. The Who never fail to...
Hippies and Skinheads were/are the same? un-fucking-real.
i don't know where but I know Queensryche (without Geoff) is touring somewhere around PHilly/NJ
i think it's confirmed- there is no prog subculture, just a lot of different folks in all different walks of life who all love prog. By the way, the OP hasn't posted again in this thread, has he.
what kind of updates do you get? "It has just gone from 40 degrees, to 41 degrees"
where did HE go?
the live version of "Hold On' from Yes
if you have to ask, I shouldn't be talking to you anyway.
nope,not all of us drink.
who is that
so you call albums you never heard turds? unfuckingbelieveable....I dont' know why I bothered to respond to this thread.....good luck with the rest of the thread...
yes JIF and sorry but the above is probably the most immature statement anyone can make.
I WANT MY DIAL MTV COUNTDOWN!
the correct term is "Completist". for me- Yes, ELP, Crimson, Genesis and all the endless offshoots/solo albums/other bands/whatever. And that includes all compilations, live albums, record company...
is buckethead the GNR dude? No idea who John 5 is. I do like John from Cincinatti though.
if that kid uses the George Jefferson Pic and the progezzer/stripper pic, he'll have all bases covered.
couldn't you come up with a better example than Skinheads? Fuck.
oh i'm not saying you aren't a good seller or anything, I'm sure you are. Just a general comment that of all the formats, cassettes are the ones that basically have no resale value, same goes for...
correct, just chimming on my take that it's not really an "odd" choice for him to play as suggested in post #4,.
After looking over the setlist though, not much different than past sets lists.
see? That above shot is better - it actually shows people in attendence. The problem with the Progday shot isn't the guy reading a book, it's the lack of hardly anyone else in the picture. Who is...
The album is pretty darn good, has some solid tunes, and like "90125" and "Moving Pictures" and "Abacab" was sort of my intro to Styx thanks to all the heavy MTV airplay so I'm not the only one. ...
i'm not sure I can even count the number of times I've seen ELPalmer play "Touch and Go" live so why not "Mars"..which is a classical cover tune anyway. Should be great!
To quote another PE member - "JUST GOOGLE IT"
"Mr Roboto" and "Adventures in Modern Recording"
people don't buy cassettes, not even 80's kids like me.
they all rock
