Hi all,
I have a bunch of CDs that I'm looking to sell. All single disk CDs are $6, doubles are $8. Plus $4 shipping and handling to the US.
41Point9 - Still Looking for Answers
A Perfect...
I loved their first two albums, so I had high expectations for this one. Only listened to it once, and it certainly met my expectations. Great stuff, and I hope to catch them live someday.
In no particular order:
Änglagård - Hybris
Cardiacs - Sing to God
Jack o' the Clock - All My Friends
Thinking Plague - In Extremis
Chrome Hoof - Chrome Black Gold
Anathema - We're Here...
Ceremony is great, as is Hydras Dream's debut The Little Match Girl (duo between Von Hausswolff & Matti Bye), which just came out this year. I unfortunately couldn't see her on her latest US tour so...
I'm not too familiar with Sunn 0))) or Scott Walker (only own The Drift), but I really liked their collaboration with Ulver so I'll check this one out.
Some of my favorites so far (no particular order):
Jack o' the Clock - Night Loops
Knifeworld - The Unravelling
Swans - To Be Kind
Kaukasus - “1”
Stars in Battledress - In Droplet Form...
I got their debut a few years ago, but for whatever reason I never got around to playing it. Listening to it now and it sounds great!
Heaven Born and Ever Bright is fantastic and quite underrated IMO. I'm not a huge fan of the production, but it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the album.
I love everything I've heard from Cardiacs and all related bands/projects, but Guns hasn't grabbed me like their other albums have. Granted, I've only listened to it a few times, so I'm definitely...
New song sound fantastic. Will be picking this up as soon as it's out.
Just came across the debut on Bandcamp, for those who don't mind downloads.

In Droplet Form is a top 5 of the year so far for me, so I'll be getting the...
Just got that XTC album last week. I'm not sure if it'll rank as high as Nonsuch and Oranges & Lemons (my two favorites, so far) for me, but I really liked it after only two listens.
I have about...
Got this today and I've played it twice already. Fantastic album, and Don't Land on Me and Destroying the World We Love sound even better in the context of the album than they do alone. I have to...
I'm not familiar with their music with vocals, but I'm sure I'll enjoy this as I love the two albums that I have - Made in Belgium Part One and Roqueforte.
Love their debut. The new songs they played live last year were great so I'm really looking forward to this.
This one also took me several listens before really clicking. Incredible album.
The new Rabbit Rabbit (Carla Kilhlstedt & Mattias Bossi) album Rabbit Rabbit Radio, Vol. 2 - Swallow Me Whole is out today. On my first listen and it sounds great!

Incredible show last night! I really admire how they dedicated a significant portion of the show to new, yet-to-be-released material, all of which sounded fantastic. Gira's a fantastic frontman, and...
Great interview. I hope the concept of playing with the choir, horns, etc in classical venues pans out as it sounds incredible!
Thanks for the response. I figured they would but just wanted to make sure.
Thinking about seeing these guys this weekend, as I love their last two albums.
Regarding the volume: I have mild tinnitus and would hate to have it worsen, so I'm definitely going to wear...
Really impressed by that Stars in Battledress video! Will definitely be getting this album.
Lots of great bands in the Cardiacs family. I'm a huge fan of Kavus Torabi's projects (eagerly awaiting the new Knifeworld!) and I also really enjoy what I've heard from the aforementioned Sterbus...
Sounds good! I hope this is a sign of them playing new stuff on the tour and eventually recording another album. As excited as I am about seeing them perform the classic stuff, I really enjoy hearing...
Yep, new one already!
It's on Bandcamp, but according to Facebook a CD release will follow.

Just got the new Jack o' the Clock album Night Loops, which was released as a download today. I've only listened to it once, but I have a feeling that it'll end up near the top of my list this year....
Thanks, I'll check that one out asap.
I got this album a few days ago (thanks to this great review!) and loved it. I've known about Susanna Wallumrød for a while now but this was my first time listening to her music and I was blown away,...
I only have the latest album, which was one of my favorites of 2013.
A bunch of my favorite albums of the year were released on Cuneiform (Pixel, Blue Cranes, and Chrome Hoof to name a few), and I'm really enjoying the older stuff that I've been hearing, especially...
Jack o' the Clock - All My Friends
Mike Keneally - You Must Be This Tall
Blue Cranes - Swim
I've seen these guys twice this year and they were phenomenal live. I won't be able to attend RoSFest next year but I'm sure they'll go over well. Hopefully their fan-base will grow with their...
Thanks for the response Kavus. I'll purchase the one long track version, as I plan on only listening to it straight through.
I went to purchase this from iTunes and there are currently two versions uploaded: ones consisting of all 13 folds and one consisting of 1 continuous 47 minute track (titled "The Exquisite Corpse...
I'm not familiar with their older stuff, but I love this album. It's incredible and will probably end up in my top 10 of the year.
The new song is incredible!! I can't wait for the new album, which I'm sure will be great!
This pretty much sums up my thoughts on it. I was kind of surprised that Geffen didn't decide to add a song or two to make it around 35 minutes, but I still enjoy it regardless.
I haven't heard it yet, but I'm planning on getting it/listening to it soon.
Here's the Bandcamp link, if anyone's interested.

Thanks for the heads up. I love their first album so I'll check this one out.
I only have Nonsuch and Drums and Wires, but both of those albums are incredible.
I love Book of Horizons. Incredible album.
Scambot's been in my wishlist for a while now, as I love everything I've heard from Keneally. I just recently got In Extremis and really liked it so I...
Managed to get tickets at the door! It was a fantastic show, as expected. The highlight of the show for me was Blues Fuckers with the drum solo. I'm usually not a fan of drum solos, but Marco's was...
Disappointed about the news, but hopefully I catch the band in the Spring.
Never heard of her before, but I found a stream of Ceremony and I'm listening to it right now. Absolutely love it. Thanks for pointing this one out!
Here's the streaming link, if anyone's...
I love Grace but didn't know about Lucas. I'm sure I've heard him on other albums too without realizing it.
Thanks! Just sent her a message.
I'm not familiar with Gary Lucas, but Peter Hammill's recent material has been very good so I'll be sure to check this one out.
It's about an hour and half away. Might be worth the risk. If not, I'm sure I'll have the chance to see these guys again.
I was thinking about seeing them tomorrow at the NJ Proghouse, but I missed the pre-order (just found out today that I could go). It says there are limited walk up sales, but I'm not sure if it would...
I've listened to this album several times now and I love it, but my favorite Tangent album is still The Music That Died Alone. Le Sacre Du Travail will probably end up second place for me though in...
I have This Is What Happens and it's great! Definitely going to check out the new album.
I'm hoping for another show in the Boston area. I didn't think the Cambridge show would sell out and I was planning on buying a ticket closer to the show date.
I love Knifeworld. The debut and two EPs are excellent, and I'm really looking forward to the new album.
I actually became a fan of Cardiacs/Tim Smith after listening to Knifeworld, so being a fan...
No, that's my last name. I had used this username for my email and it didn't even occur to me that people would think I played the viola. :lol
I only have a handful of Cuneiform albums, but I recently downloaded the new Blue Cranes album from Bandcamp and ordered Curtis Hasselbring's Number Stations from Wayside. I've listened to the Blue...
I was just listening to Last Chapter of Dreaming yesterday. Never listened to them before, but I really liked the album a lot.
I'm really looking forward to hearing this.
