Scored between 40 to 76 on the different lists. Have some listening to do, hopefully all those more obscure items are on spotify.
Don't do it. Never upgrade operating systems w/o a new computer, never worth it.
I remember making fun of all the doo-wop reunion concerts in the 70s. So karma's back with all the 70's reunion shows I have been seeing reciently.

My favorite from the time period.
I'll go for
Greg Lake, Hogarth and then maybe John Wetton
So I guess it speaks volumes that I listen to folk and my favorite prog albums are Lamb and Brave.
First memory of prog style in 76, was listening to heavys of the day, Zep, Beatles, Who, etc. had heard ELP and didn't like much, heard Trick of the Tail and it raised my recognition. That summer,...
It would be great if I could download on iPad for later playback when I'm offline. Possible?
If limited to earbuds, ive never found any brand fit quite as well in my ear as Apples.
This said, im very happy with Bose OE2 headphones, Sound is great, fold well and block out just enough of the...
Back in the day, when I was younger and had less time on my hands, Relayer was an easy answer.
However, as I age, particularly now when I have more time to enjoy the expanse of Tales, it it my...
Looking forward to this Sundays performace and to some serious flash-back to 1976 where I last saw Yes when we were all much younger. Too bad there not doing Tales.
Rip papa tasty
It's always a fine line between country and country-rock. Too far country and can't handle it at all, but Gram Parsons, while not the first (Gene Clark) got me into the genre. Modern day favorites...
I went with a case logic 3 ring binder approach, very easy and compact. They do get heavy, but fits easily on bookshelf and accessible. This said, every thing is digital and don't use CDs much...
Wish You Were Here
Meddle
Atom Heart Mother
Animals
Obscured by Clouds
The Dark Side of the Moon
A Saucerful of Secrets
The Final Cut
The Division Bell
Ummagumma
Great movies, agreed on the leading ladies, also Goldie Hawn in Butterflies are free
Havent seen the Moodies since the 80s, Looking forward to seeing Justin Haywood this summer.
It depends on the mood, so much to choose from I generally rotate thru them all. Higher frequency stuff
Live at Massey Hall 1971
At the Fillmore 1970
Time Fades Away
On the Beach
After the...
I bet the have tried tops 90% for those who lived thru the70s.
No idea about Rush, but I didn't have a single hair cut in the 70s. Cut the locks in July 1980.
First Day
Evening Star
I Advanced masked
League of Crafty Guitarists Live
Oh, you tease us.
Thanks, listened to my Zappa collection all day after watching last night.
Think I need some more Zappa.
I also rediscovered this with 40th anniversity disks, no pitch, just great solo.
Actually, I've used both as for iTunes it's almost identical between both. First Mac mini with full library, now old pc hooked to receiver.
Never understood the hatred for iTunes, works quite well for me. Used with iPad and the iTunes remote app I can nicely control my electronic library of 45k tunes from my deck. It's a bit quirky...
I enjoy the disk as well, maybe not as high on the list as Fairport or Pentangle.
I once had a 5,000 lp collection, which I've culled down in half over past 5 years.
The commodity records with no large value, I've donated to charity as most stores wouldn't pay much or even buy...
Atmp
Imagine
Walls & Bridges
Dark Horse
Ram
Folk-prog
-Strawbs
-Decemberists
-Tull
Folk-rock
-CSNY
-Byrds
-Pentangle
This was the album that made Marillion "click" for me.
Love the grunge movement and agree put 80s synth pop sound to bed.
Love the godfather of grunge (young) more.
:(
Graham Nash - Prison Song
The two which stand out most for me are Townsend's Who Came First and Entwistle's Smash Your Head lps.
Very different lps, Pete's lp is the mello side of the Who and sounds more like Who demos,...
I wish a saw one of those shows. One of my favorite live disks is Another Stoney Evening.
French Toast sounds perfect, shit, no bread or milk!
8" and counting
I find the Kinks a bit too quirky for me, good run of albums 69-72. Early-mid 60s order world be Stones, Kinks, Who, but by 70s order would be Who, Stones, Kinks.
Keith Moon certainly has come up
Not all HDR has to be grunged. Add lots of black and contrast to keep image balanced. This said many like the "painterly" look.

Have you tried HDR?

Ruddy Turnstone by Acoustic Walden, on Flickr
I like it all, but Third is the one I most turn to.
Also 2nd and 7
Used to do this a while ago, 80s, but never seem to find anything anymore.
Best was Beatles Ed Rudy lp for 25 cents.
A few favorites for me, most have been mentioned, except Dark Star, more spacey, but think Tangerine Dream hippy
The 2 disk Greyfolded Collage is a standout, very proggy.
Terrapin station
Anthem...
Part of the problem is the light isn't interesting. Remember a photograph is partially, some would say completely, about the light. You can see the sun is sort of low and coming from the left. The...
I looked at sonos and decided on using an old pc w/iTunes and iTunes remote from iPad/iPhone to play library thru stereo. Pretty happy with results. Also adds ability to watch YouTube on large...
I second this. Listened to Le Orme at NearFest just today, always enjoy the old memories.
Sounds odd to me, I might guess your startup excel file is corrup.
I split the columbia music club w/my brother, we each got 6

It's just a matter of time before spotify/Netflix type services steam all the video you want (except of course out-of-print titles). This said, industry probably has another decade
Take an old pc and set it up next to your amp. Go to radio shack and buy a jack that converts a two jack audio cord to the standard stereo one jack plug. Plug the new one jack plug into you pc...

Lunch isn't getting the love, this is a great tune from the lp.

Was in western Florida last month and stopped in a favorite park, Homosassa Springs.
I think it's time for a new camera, but I'd like to wait for the new mirror less cameras.
Keep the images...
I only have / heard Lunch and like it alot. Seems like I need to give House on the Hill a listen.
Great video from Johhny Cash show, just listened to a recently downloaded 7 disk bootleg of Layla sessions from bigOZone. Some nice outtakes w/Cash.
Good discography
