Actually, I've used both as for iTunes it's almost identical between both. First Mac mini with full library, now old pc hooked to receiver.

Never understood the hatred for iTunes, works quite well for me. Used with iPad and the iTunes remote app I can nicely control my electronic library of 45k tunes from my deck. It's a bit quirky...

I enjoy the disk as well, maybe not as high on the list as Fairport or Pentangle.

I once had a 5,000 lp collection, which I've culled down in half over past 5 years.

I find the Kinks a bit too quirky for me, good run of albums 69-72. Early-mid 60s order world be Stones, Kinks, Who, but by 70s order would be Who, Stones, Kinks.

Not all HDR has to be grunged. Add lots of black and contrast to keep image balanced. This said many like the "painterly" look.
