Smallpipes is an unusual instrument for jazz/jazz-rock and so is harp. Here's a rather good album from Amanda Whiting:

There goes the Chechen Speed-Metal scene
The whole album was made available today, on release day
Having bought some stuff on Bandcamp from Ma.Ra.Cash, I get notifications about all their new releases. This one came in the mail the other day:

A very interesting album released last year that somehow went under the radar (I did a quick search and could not find any mention of it): Cambio della Guardia - S/T (2023). Here are track # 1 & 4...
Live album by Ghost Rhythms. It was released last month

A nice one from Norway - kind of a jam band, but I like it

Not sure if this is truly a noteworthy reissue - some folks may see it that way.
Because I bought stuff from them in the past (the Amoeba Split albums), the áMARXE label sent me an email to inform me about a new release that I may like. Only one song so far (the album is supposed...
Dusting off my CC
Do you plan to get it in stock, Ken? If so, maybe get the PSI as well.
Not sure if this is legit, but it appears that the second Virgo album called "Four Seasons" has been released by an Italian label called KRAY Records. The same label has a few other reissues:...
I love them - I have 3 of their 5 releases, up to date. This one is a live album and it includes material from their studio albums. The record sounds fantastic, so I will probably take the dive....
Nobody mentioned Days Between Stations yet, AFAIK. Three brilliant albums
A rather subdued album but beautiful in its own way nonetheless, Minuit 10 from France

Very late entry on my list: Cinétiqua - Crossing Borders (France). I just discovered it, even though Bandcamp says the album was released in May of last year:
2376302202
New Runaway Totem. I could not find a Bandcamp page, but YouTube has quite a lot of tracks (if not all) from this new album called "Creators"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlQvWl7qjvU
NAKE (Denmark)

Another blast from the past, L'Uovo di Colombo (Ma.Ra.Cash is on a tear):

New Luz de Riada - great Mexican band featuring Ramses Luna, formerly part of Cabezas de Cera

Cool, I didn't know that they have released a new album. I have their previous one and I like it a lot. This one, just like the previous one was, may be released on the Eclipse Music label. There are...
I love these types of lists, especially those coming from people that have a lot of albums common with my own lists. It allows me to discover things that I missed, like the 6 titles in the above...
That's exactly what caught my attention, the first time I listen to the album, but there are a few other very good moments. Several guitar solos that are a great listen. Great release, worth buying.
I got mine from Amazon.fr. It is the Japanese press with OBI and the whole 9 yards.
Gorgeous - will buy it once Laser Edge / Wayside will carry it. Bandcamp is asking for a stupid shipping fee.
I have them as being from Norway as well
Cool track. Now, if you want to have fun, there is another Finish band called Vimma and they have just released a new album:

I've been to three NFs. Best shows, PFM, Anglagard, Beardfish and DFA
Quite a few songs from this album on YT:

How does it compare to Nebula - which is their best that I know?
My list from last year in alphabetical order - no way I have the mental capacity to sort them by preference, but I put some asterisks besides the albums that I really like a lot.
Aberdeen - "Held...
Thanks for this - it gave me great enjoyment to watch. GFTO holds a very special place in my heart as it is the first Yes album I discovered as a kid when my brother brought it home after he borrowed...
And here is another one from Belgium that caught my attention:

One album that may please some of the fine folks venturing over to this corner of the internet:

Have you heard about Cobra Kraft? Me neither. Here are two clips from their debut album called "The Baptism of Pedro del Zorro":

Who isn't?
New Pneumatic Transit album - comes out next month. Only one track for now, but is a scorcher

How are the first two compared to "Lutello"? All three have very good marks on RYM. The 4th one is a little further below. It would be nice if this Chick-Fil-A label would release more of them.
Asia is my guilty pleasure. Would never slander them, even though I can't say I like all their albums.
Not sure if anyone else saw it, but Laser Edge has an album called "Lutello" by a German band Virgo. I must confess that I never heard of them before, but this album (their third, according to RYM)...
This new Ancient Veil is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. Will definitely track it down.
What would be the purpose of producing more? There are still CDs available of the first two albums from 2017 and 2019 and I am pretty sure they did not produce thousands of those either.
From the bottomless pool of talent and good music that is Finland comes Maailmanpuu. Never heard of them before despite this being their 3rd release in 5 years. File along Vesilinja

For your jazz section, I really recommend you take a look at Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah. He is a trumpet player but collaborated with Elena Pinderhughes. An absolutely phenomenal flute player not...
This is the album that introduced me to Genesis. My brother brought home a cassette with some weird names scribbled on the label. I don't care what people think about it, this release will always...
Not sure if anyone has shared the Bandcamp link for the last Trip album. It has good moments and not so good.

Proud Peasant with a new album to be released next week, on October 20th. Only one song on their Bandcamp page, but it is very good:

Looking forward to this release
Slowly Rollin Camera with a new album released:

This link may provide some good information about reissues to many a fine folks here: https://pqrrecords.blogspot.com/
That is the label that has recently released the Skryvania LP/CD combo
This was recently released on CD by Made in Germany label: https://www.lasercd.com/cd/visitor-2035
That's a beauty too but not as big of a "slap in your face" like the debut.
The Italians have a few very good ones, both Quella Vecchia Locanda are gorgeous. Le Orme has a few very good ones: "Uomo di Pezza" & "Felona e Sorona" are both outstanding.
Surprised nobody mentioned King Crimson's debut yet (or did I miss it somehow)

Finally, Naikaku-no-wa, 2 releases, both of them mind bending and then poof, disappeared in thin air

Mongol - "Doppler 444" was such a massive album. Too bad they released it and then we never heard from this band ever again.

A few more short-lived ones. First TRI-Offensive. Only one album that I know of:

A few years ago Laser Edge had a couple of amazing releases from Brazil. We got the chance to discover beauties like Caravela Escarlate, Arcpelago, Luiz Zamith and Vitral. Well, the latter has a new...
I saw that too. I ordered it anyway. Will report back on the quality of the CD, once it arrives in the mail.
Guerssen Out-Syder released Apocalypse's "The Castle" album on vinyl last year. The album was originally released in 1976. There is a legit, very limited edition on CD:
