Bump. Show this Sat. Hope folks will come out to support it. Should be great.
Glad to see there is at least some interest. We need to support shows like this. Really looking forward to seeing you Mattias.

no one interested or going?
Curious to hear what people think about a new video/song Mercury Encounter from my son's metal band. They are all 20 to 21.

Anyone planning on going? I plan to go and have prog cds and records from my collection for sale.

Check out Lemon Twiggs if you like this
Merci for the recommendations.
Any recommendations for shops with Prog selection and lots of vinyl that's not over priced? Thx
So none that specialize in Prog or have a Prog section? Was hoping to find stuff like big big train. Thieves kitchen magentA and older stuff too
Thx for the tips. Hope there would be more but sounds like everywhere else
Heading to London and looking for recommendations for good record/cd stores. Looking for good used selection and Prog. Thx
Maybe around 100. Neil the organizer was happy about the turn out. It was really a great show. 3 amazing bands in a close setting.
Yes I agree the show was great and am hoping for more in the future.
Glad to hear others are going. The more that go the more likely it will happen again. You cannot beat $10 for seeing 3 great bands.
The show starts at 8 pm. Not sure what order the bands are playing in.

Kids, I tell you truly, this is going to...
So no one else going? Surprised by the apparent lack of interest. No wonder its hard for So Cal to maintain a prog festival.
The other 2 bands sound great. Does anyone know anything about them? Anyone else going?
saw this buried in a threat about Astra and did not see it in its own thread so thought it should get its own thread to help spread the word to get support going for this.
That SMILE festival is...
Sweet about the Smile prog festival. Did not know about it and will be going. These guys are great live. Astra is one of the few prog bands in San Diego and I've been stoked to seen them here a few...
Is this just a one-off show or will there be more?
so bummed. hope it rises again.
You must not have listened to Ambrosia's first 2 albums. There are stellar and I am not aware of any thing Air Supply did like them. If they did, I'd love to hear them.
cool. hope so.
They had announced by this time last year, so hopefully lack of word by now is not a bad sign.
Any word?
Any shows coming up. I live in San Diego and would like to see you guys live.
I'd heard good things about this to and was really excited when I found a copy recently. But I was really disappointed when I heard it. More funk than fusion and some pretty lame vocals if I recall...
These are new or only played once:
Altair-La Esencia del Tiempo
Kharmina Buranna-Seres Humanos (new)
Storm-Lost in Time (2cds)
Iconoclasta-Resurreccion
Retsam Suriv-Exegesis; Danger (new)...
Nice. Still working through the others.
Another great Baja Prog, maybe one of the best. Favs were PFM, Moon Safari, Museo, Spock's, Saga and hearing Shylock play Ile de fièvre. Great to see old friends (Rogue Elephant) and make new ones. ...
