I'll take this every time
Co-sign!
It most certainly is a banger!
Trust me, I have mad respect for you, and always read everything I come across that you’ve written. I am pretty sure I read what you just reposted above. I was just wondering if I missed any juicy...
Henty, I don't believe you've ever shared the sordid details in full. Can you fill in the gaps? It's hard to fathom Howe accepting Rabin- let alone ask him to join! Was it in his prior role...
How is Trevvy's voice getting HIGHER with age? Especially if, as he claims, he's not using any electronic gimmickry? His voice was noticeably "weathered" on the ARW tours.
CTTE, Gates, Ritual and Awaken are ~85 minutes of music by themselves!
I actually dug that video. Very creative and a technical tour-de-force.
Believe it or not, both these videos were cutting edge at the time, especially the Charlex-created "You Might Think."
There were actually 18 different variations of this video!
I dig it in context. Not essential but not cringey either
I can testify to that, I have to carry a second card now to provide proof of my booster.
Hocus Pocus by Focus expertly used in Baby Driver:

And FFH.
This.
It won't trick anyone into thinking it's CTTE II or anything, but it's YESsy and hella more interesting than anything on Heaven & Earth. Production is many steps up as well, and the keys...
Firstcom is a production music (TV/film) company. Look for Jon on the soundtrack of the next season of The Mandalorian!
Let the 97 page thread commence!
This is genius. Why have I never heard it before?
The reason is attempting some unabashed shilling of an inferior project. Nonsense, indeed.
Remember when Anderson called Union "a revisitation of Fragile" in Yes Magazine? Good times.
There are a few "new" tracks on his Bandcamp page... including this one

Beggs was lead singer of Kajagoogoo for years...
Supposedly that's what happened in Lake Placid, NY. Just the original 5.
Who new Jon was a heron addict?
Shockingly unlistenable, even with very low expectations.
Bill Bressler's Normal Boy will scratch that itch...

I think that it's about time we got this thing started... what do you think?
Bill Bressler- Normal Boy

The Jobson/Wetton/Bozzio reunion was great- but his drum solo was excruciating at 15+ minutes. Only negative to an otherwise stellar show.
But not good enough/willing to contribute to a new ARW album? SMH
Downes performed admirably on “Gates” in the states.
Mike Oldfield's The Songs of Distant Earth is a no brainer, IMO
I recall reading this too (I thought on Henry's site!). I seem to remember he didn't reveal which song it was but it was hinted it was not "In The Presence Of."
Hi there,
If this is your license plate I see you often driving around my area but I’m never in a position to flag you down! If you’re on this board (my gut says you might be) PM me.
Your noinety-noine pieces of vinyl?
I know they share the kit. I was being facetious. I'd be thrilled for Alan to play the whole show.
It's important to have a personalized, custom drumhead when you only play like 12% of the concert.
I thought Steve was great on "Owner," and proved what a team player he is. (He played a Rick, by the way)

Let the “Jon begs his way back into YesO” speculation begin!
Montreal, A Collection, Three Minute Boy, Sounds That Can't Be Made and Go! just missed my list.
Market Square Heroes
Easter
The Party
Cover My Eyes
Gazpacho
The Invisible Man
Fantastic Place
Ocean Cloud
This Strange Engine
The Leavers
I'm told a band pays $500 for a song to be on the free CDs.
'Scuse me while I whip this out!
LOL
1. Marillion "All One Tonight"
2. Yes "Fly From Here: Return Trip"
3. Bill Bressler "Normal Boy"
4. Steven Wilson "Home Invasion"
5. Big Big Train "Merchants of Light"
6. Robert Reed "Sanctuary...
This one has grown on me, even the 12-minute "Walk" which wasn't initially a fave. Synth talk box in 2018? Yes please!
Didn't bug me in the slightest- in fact hardly noticed under all that ARP-y Moog-ness
Glad you like... hope others are checking it out too! It appears to be on all major platforms
Anyone check this out yet? Lots of analog synthy goodness reminiscent of Genesis and Spock's Beard.

100% agree- I always felt Rabin really half assed AY&I- didn't even bother with an acoustic guitar, let alone a 12 string, or even a fake patch like Howe's Line 6.
Now that we have official live releases featuring this tune from both factions (and both drowned with unnecessary faux crowd noise), which is the better take?
It's one of the few classic Yes songs...
This, by a whole heckuvalot. Saves "We Can't Dance" from being a complete, pardon the pun, shipwreck.
Also Discipline.
I was there and while not a sellout, I recall MSG being 80-90% full... moreso than their prior appearance there in 1994.
What an abomination
They play, but many of the songs get cut off... even when you stream them from the site. Argh.
Demand they throw in UK's "In the Dead of Night." They do a nice job with it.
Twitter requires that you quote/include the entire tweet when using, hence that formatting.
That's Dave Grohl, who toured with a broken leg.
I don’t care about the between songs applause. It’s the awkward cut and pasted crowd noise WITHIN songs that is annoying me.
The crowd noise on "Benny and the Jets" sounds more natural than this mix.
The performances on this range from decent to good, but man, once you notice it you can't unhear that awkward,...
