The one 2112 took place on.
He was amazing and sorely missed.
Big fan. I believe he had been suffering from dementia for at least a few years. Bummer...... R.I.P.
Loved it from my first listen upon it's release. I do feel that it still holds up quite well.
Saw them 3 times. One time each for the The Lamb, SEBTP, and Foxtrot shows and I enjoyed them all. The Foxtrot show was just last weekend. Their shows feel like a time machine to me. Cool stuff.
Still my favorite as well.
It only makes sense as modular synthesis is pretty huge right now, especially in the Euro-Rack form. One of my band-mates has quite a substantial Synthesizer.com (modeled after Moog) rig and it...
Also played to death, but it's a tie between Freewill and Red Barchetta.
I am so sorry for your loss. Condolences..........
cool.
Sweet. Thanks!
Going to see them tonight in CT. Yay!!!
On the wish-list. HH is a huge influence.
Cool, another show I won't watch.
I was at the 3rd NYC show and was literally floored by the band. They killed, fo sho!
This.
Great, great tune! I didn't know that he still had it in him.
:O

Sorry for the plug, but my old band sort of fits the bill: http://greylyng.bandcamp.com
I have and dig all of them up to and including A Black Box. One day I'll investigate further.
Yeah, definitely a woman singing on that last track.
:up
Yeah, great band as are/were Chicago Underground and Isotope 217.
Zeit (#3) is still my favorite by a mile.
Opeth
Porcupine Tree
Mastodon
King Crimson
Even though the compositions are for the most part old, I feel that they sound incredibly fresh. I credit the current lineup and arrangement changes. Viva King Crimson!!!

Nice assessment Scotum Scissor.
Loved every minute of the Friday night NYC show. The sound was balanced where we were sitting. Actually, I wish it was just a tad louder.
This is horrible news. RIP.

NYC -Friday night.
psych, is/was prog, albeit a little sloppier with a few more blurred edges. ;)
Prog/rock/Jazz/other players for my $$:
Robert Fripp
Steve Howe
Alex Lifeson
Steve Hackett
David Gilmour
Andy Summers
Derek Bailey
Fred Frith
2 is also great, but if you already have 1, it's a similar template (except for side 2, as noted above). All three are great, but 1 and '75 are the most different from each other, IMHO.
Neu! 1 and Neu! '75, but all 3 are flat out classics.

Yeah, I echo all the cool remarks. Cool!!
Glad to here that the tour has been great thus far. I have tickets to see them on 9/16.
At his peak, he was great! Big fan. Saw him live once and yeah, he wasn't at his best. He died shortly after.
Great cover of the tune.
Bellybutton for me as well. Great band!
I need this soon!
on my ever expanding wishlist, fo sho.
Word.
'Song For My Father' has always been one of my favorite standards. R.I.P.
Heard this, this morning and it's bummed me out. I loved The Young Ones. A big part of my youth.
Got my tickets for Friday at the Best Buy Theater in NYC. Also picked up Steve Hackett tickets, for September too.

Mental illness is very serious topic and there isn't always enough support available for those who are suffering.
He was a huge talent! R.I.P.
^ These two things!
Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered it from Amazon.

As a big fan I literally grew up on his films. A sad day. R.I.P.
